I followed my husband and dad around Wolf Creek Golf Course in Mesquite (ranked one of the hardest courses in the nation). The golfers were hitting clear across canyons in the red rock. I absolutely fell in love with the scenery of the course.
These next two posts include photos from a recent bridal shoot using two completely different themes. For this first, she gave me some examples of photos where the bride was half in shadow which gave the photos a very dramatic black and white look. With the help of her family we were able to recreate this dramatic look on the stage of Westminster College's Courage Theatre.
For the second look, Chalice wanted photos using this Indian theme with overly saturated color and a regal/goddess look. She provided all of the fabric and pillows which gave a wonderful background for the photo shoot.

I developed a love for photography several years ago which gave me a chance to explore my creativity and the world around me.
Photography has the power to showcase a simple detail that often goes unnoticed or capture a precious moment in time. This is what I attempt to do each time I hold my camera. Whether it captures a reflection, a color, or a look, a photo has a way of stirring memories and emotions in each of us. This is what I find so moving about this art form.
Now I hope you enjoy taking a look at the world through my eyes.
