Olympic Peninsula

These are probably some of my favorite photos from our Washington trip. We traveled up the coast of the Olympic Peninsula which included rain forests, beaches, and luscious landscapes much different from those I get to photograph back in Salt Lake City. We even snuck up on an Elk during one of our nature walks which was quite an experience. That photo was taken by hiding and crouching under a log.

Mount Rainier

These photos are from the Mount Rainier National Park which is the highest peak in the continental United States.

May in Washington state

Recently over Memorial Day weekend I went to Washington state with my husband and mother-in-law. We flew into Seattle where we got to see quite a few sites, drove through Mount Rainier National Park and visited several rain forests. It was absolutely beautiful! Besides we lucked out with extremely good weather. These next few posts include some of my favorites.

These are from Seattle which include the pier, Pikes Market Place, and the Underground tour.
